Heaven Council 00000
The Knights of Columbus, Immaculate Conception Council 13679 wishes to remember forever our fallen knights. They were men with the courage to serve others in the best tradition of the Knights.
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children…
To leave the world a better place…
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
--Ralph Waldo Emerson
They will be missed in death as they were loved in life.

Yearly Budget
At the June meeting, Bro. Don passed out the proposed budget for next year. I hope to have this proposed budget posted here soon, so check back to review it. We will be voting on it at the July meeting.
Applebee's Pancake Breakfast
We just completed our first Applebee's Pancake Breakfast fundraiser and it was a wonderful success. Bro. Don sent out the following:
The pancake breakfast went extremely well. We had more than sufficient help. George the manager at Applebee's and our cook was pleased at what we did. We served 34 breakfast guests, but could have done many more.
I'd like to thank the knights and their ladies for their upbeat assistance through the two hours. I think we all had fun doing this.
Financial results:
We took in $45 in checks and $385 in cash including a foursome that gave us an additional $20. Part of this was also collected at the Family Dinner Sunday and Brother Mike Lehr has another $50 we'll get at the July meeting. For a total gross of $480.
Our expenses were $49.97 for Applebees food items and $25 tip for the cook for a total of $74.97. Our net was then $405.05.
We have another breakfast tenatively scheduled for October 30th and we need to pick date(s) in 2011 soon as Applebee's will be opening it's calendar for 2011 on August 1st. Great job everyone!
